to forget, and they’ve got a chance to redeem themselves tonight. Even though they picked up the win, they put in one of their most sluggish efforts of the season. They weathered the storm and pulled out a win in overtime.

They’re back in Detroit tonight to take on the Red Wings in a rematch. We can only hope for a better effort in this one.

Here are your players to watch.

Brandon Hagel

Brandon Hagel found himself on the second line in Monday night’s game. His hard work led to Dominik Kubalik’s first goal of the game. It remains to be seen whether he keeps his spot on that line or night, but his play remains incredibly effective.

Pius Suter

Pius Suter picked up a wonderful assist in the overtime game winner on Monday. He was near the end of his shift, but kept moving his feet to go on the odd man rush with Kubalik. He’s been bouncing around the lineup, but his rookie season has been great so far. Let’s see if he picks up another point or two tonight.

Alex DeBrincat

Well, Alex DeBrincat didn’t pick up Monday night. So he’s got another shot at picking up points against Detroit tonight. It’s not very often he goes two games without hitting the scoresheet this year, so let’s see what he can do.
