I don’t even want to talk about last night’s game again. If you want my recap, head on over to this link and check out my postgame video: https://youtu.be/vpCaRdKBEt4

Moving the focus to tonight’s matchup, the Blackhawks can’t look much worse than they did. I fully expect them to come out with a better effort. Nashville was coming off of two losses and the Hawks were coming off of two wins. Maybe the playing field has evened out and we will get to watch a good game. We can only hope.

Here are my players to watch:

Patrick Kane

All eyes are on Patrick Kane tonight. With the effort that Kane displayed in last night’s contest, fans are hoping for a lot more. I’m sure the coaches are hoping for a lot more as well. Kane didn’t even have a single shot attempt. He needs to be better.

Nikita Zadorov

Coach Jeremy Colliton was specifically asked about Zadorov post game, that’s why I’m including him on this list. He wasn’t even close to being the only problem for the Blackhawks last night. On the first goal, he was singled out for being at fault by a lot of folks around the internet land, but go back and watch it. Zadorov was fine last night, but it was his worst game for the Blackhawks so far in his early career here. Expect him to bounce back tonight. The Hawks could definitely use one or two of his booming hits tonight.

Mattias Janmark

Notably: Not Calle Jarnkrok.

Janmark was one of the only bright spots in Tuesday night’s match up along with Malcolm Subban. He’s got a 3 game goal streak going. Does that continue tonight? He had a lot of naysayers coming into this season, but I have been thoroughly pleased with his game.

Please just win.
