ROCKFORD ICEHOGS GAME RECAP: OT Streakin’ RFD (2) GR (1)
The Rockford IceHogs finally defeated the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday. It’s been a rough road for Rockford this year. They looked to keep that positivity ball rolling when they faced off against the Griffins again on Tuesday. I’d say they accomplished that with a 2-1 overtime win!
ROCKFORD ICEHOGS GAME RECAP: Clutch! IA (2) RFD (3)
The Rockford IceHogs lost an absolute nightmare of a game to the Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday with a score of 9-4. This weekend, they take on the Iowa Wild in a back-to-back. The first was Saturday evening. The IceHogs looked to get their second win of the season. They got it. 3-2 was the final score, and we all get to rest easy.
ROCKFORD ICEHOGS GAME RECAP: Suffering GR (9) RFD (4)
After losing to the Cleveland Monsters 6-3 on Saturday, the IceHogs went into Wednesday night looking to bounce back against the Grand Rapids Griffins. It was the first of 4 straight home games for Rockford. Instead of starting the home stand on a hot note, the IceHogs lost 9-4 to the Griffins.
Rockford IceHogs Preview: March Schedule
The month of February was not very kind to the Rockford IceHogs. They left the first month of the 2020-21 season with a record of 1-6-1-0. While there were positives in Blackhawks rookies picking up their first professional goals and assists, the IceHogs are hoping for a better March.
ROCKFORD ICEHOGS GAME RECAP: Pain. CLE (6) RFD (3)
The Rockford IceHogs finally earned their first win of the season by defeating the Cleveland Monsters 3-2 on Tuesday night. On Saturday, they were back in action against that same Monsters team. They were hoping to build off of some momentum. Something tells me that this outcome wasn’t what they were aiming for.
ROCKFORD ICEHOGS GAME RECAP: Still Remaining Defeated CLE (7) RFD (3)
The Rockford IceHogs went into Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Monsters still searching for their first win. Once again, they left the game the same way. The 7-3 loss was not flattering for this IceHogs team.
ICEHOGS GAME RECAP: The Battle of Special Teams CHI (5) RFD (4)
The Rockford IceHogs season has begun! They faced the Chicago Wolves in an afternoon contest at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Did the IceHogs win? Nope. The final score was 5-4 Wolves.
IceHogs 2021 Training Camp: Defense
The Rockford IceHogs kicked off Training Camp this week. They play their one and only preseason game this afternoon when they take on the Chicago Wolves (of course) in Hoffman Estates. I already took a good at the IceHogs goaltenders on the Training Camp roster. Now, let’s look at the defensemen. There are some familiar names on this list, and some young kids. They’ve got a good mix this season.
