ROCKFORD ICEHOGS GAME RECAP: Fast and Furious IA (3) RFD (4)
The Rockford IceHogs earned their second win of the 2021 season with a 3-2 victory over the Iowa Wild on Saturday night. They didn’t have much time to rest, because they were back at it with the Wild on Sunday at 4pm. The last time they had a back-to-back, they won the second game. They hoped to do the same again on Sunday. They did. A 4-3 victory over the Iowa Wild gave the IceHogs their third win of the season.
ROCKFORD ICEHOGS GAME RECAP: Clutch! IA (2) RFD (3)
The Rockford IceHogs lost an absolute nightmare of a game to the Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday with a score of 9-4. This weekend, they take on the Iowa Wild in a back-to-back. The first was Saturday evening. The IceHogs looked to get their second win of the season. They got it. 3-2 was the final score, and we all get to rest easy.

After losing to the Cleveland Monsters 6-3 on Saturday, the IceHogs went into Wednesday night looking to bounce back against the Grand Rapids Griffins. It was the first of 4 straight home games for Rockford. Instead of starting the home stand on a hot note, the IceHogs lost 9-4 to the Griffins.
Rockford IceHogs Preview: March Schedule
The month of February was not very kind to the Rockford IceHogs. They left the first month of the 2020-21 season with a record of 1-6-1-0. While there were positives in Blackhawks rookies picking up their first professional goals and assists, the IceHogs are hoping for a better March.

The Rockford IceHogs finally earned their first win of the season by defeating the Cleveland Monsters 3-2 on Tuesday night. On Saturday, they were back in action against that same Monsters team. They were hoping to build off of some momentum. Something tells me that this outcome wasn’t what they were aiming for.

The Chicago Blackhawks are coming off of two very interesting games in Columbus as they face off against the Detroit Red Wings this weekend. They have back-to-back games on Saturday and Sunday. This is an incredibly important series for the Blackhawks if they have playoff hopes.

On Tuesday night, the Rockford IceHogs took on the Cleveland Monsters in the second half of a back-to-back still looking for their first win of the season. On Tuesday night, they finally earned it! They beat the Monsters 3-2.
ROSTER MOVES: Collin Delia, Nicolas Beaudin, Reese Johnson, Wyatt Kalynuk to Rockford
The Chicago Blackhawks sent Collin Delia, Wyatt Kalynuk, Nicolas Beaudin, and Reese Johnson to the Rockford IceHogs. Brad Morrison, Mikael Hakkarainen, and Matt Tomkins were called up to the Taxi Squad.

The Chicago Blackhawks are in Columbus tonight for a 6pm game against the Blue Jackets. Both teams are coming off of a loss and are looking to get back into the win column. The last game between these two teams ended with a 3-2 Blackhawks win.

Even though they picked up the win, they put in one of their most sluggish efforts of the season. They weathered the storm and pulled out a win in overtime.
